The Third Age
Hello, I am Peter Storey the Chaplain to the Third Age. At Moulton Parish Church we are committed to caring for all age groups and my role is to support all the activities to do with senior citizens, or the Third age as it is commonly called.
It is a group with especially diverse needs, so our aim is to provide a variety of activities that both meet the needs of our older congregation, including reaching out to those on the fringe of the church. This includes taking services in care homes.
You will see below, we provide a variety of events that hopefully will appeal to a broad spectrum of needs both spiritual and social.
Lunch Club
Lunch club is open to anyone, though we particularly appeal to retired folk. Each fortnight on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month we lay on a two course meal with tea and coffee for about 50 local people. It's a great time where people receive delicious food, and meet their friends. Why not join us?. The venue is the church centre.

You will need to book for this event. Please call Barry on 01604 536167 for more details.

Men’s Daytime Bible Study
This is a great opportunity to explore and discuss passages of the Bible. There is no requirement to have a deep Bible knowledge as we all learn together. We meet on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, starting at 10:30 with coffee, discuss the passage and end with prayer at 12:00.
No need to book. More details from Peter Storey on 01604 846615

Ladies Fellowship
Meeting at 2:00pm once a month on the first Tuesday of each month, it is open to all women and is an good chance to meet with friends and enjoy some cake an refreshments, lovingly prepared by the members themselves. There is usually a speaker from a Christian organisation or a talk from a local minister on something relevant and interesting. There is also an annual outing in August of each year.
