Children and Families

Hi, my name is Claire Clarke (left) and I'm the Children, Youth and Families Minister at Moulton Parish Church. I work with Caitlin Alderman (right)- Assistant Children and Youth Minister- and a wonderful team of volunteers to serve the children of our church. Our focus is on supporting parents to raise their children to know Jesus and also to give families who don’t yet know Jesus, a chance to hear about him. We have a number of activities that cater for families and children both attending church on Sundays and during the week. Below you'll see some description of those activities. Sundays

At Moulton church children matter to us, because they matter to Jesus. Jesus said…

Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them. (Matthew 19:14)

Every Sunday we run Junior Church at the 10.30 service for primary school aged children. The groups are run by safely recruited leaders who have a passion for Jesus and making him known to children. Junior Church gives children the opportunity to encounter the love of Jesus, grow in their faith and build good friendships with other children and adults. Families begin the service together and then the children go to their session before returning for the end of the service.

We also have a crèche for babies and pre-schoolers up to the age of 4.

Midweek and Saturdays

Moulton Tots

Moulton Tots is our babies and toddler group which happens on Mondays ( from 10am-11.30) and Wednesdays (9.30am-11.00) at the church centre. Come and join us for a bible story, a listening ear and friendship. For more details go to the Tots Dedicated Page here.

Who Let the Dads Out

This group meets on the second Saturday of each month. It’s an opportunity for Dads/Grandads to play with their children whilst meeting others and sharing a bacon roll together. Give Mum a lie in and come and join us! 9.30 - 11am

School Age Children

We want to share the love of God with our community, therefore we have groups for Primary School Aged children midweek.

Jam Club

We run two groups for children in Years 3 and 4, and Years 5 and 6 on Thursday lunchtimes at Moulton Primary School. We spend time learning about who Jesus is and playing fun games together.

Dangerous Club

Dangerous Club* is our monthly group for children in Years 4-6. Whether you come to church or not, this group is for your kids! Great leaders, great fun and lots of time to learn from the Bible together. And we forgot to say, great snacks?! Every second Friday of the month in the church centre. 6.30 - 8pm

*Activities are not dangerous, just a lot of fun!

Heroes Academy

Our annual Holiday club is a highlight of the year at Moulton Church and it usually happens in the first week of the Summer holidays and attracts lots of primary school aged children from the area. You can guess the deal... There is fun, games, drama, songs, friendship and a chance to hear about Jesus. We’d love to see your children there next year! Look out for more details in summer term.
