Social Action

Hello I'm Pete Collins the church administrator. We believe Jesus Christ by His Spirit changes His people radically. The hallmark of this change is love which overflows not just to the church family but to the surrounding community.

Our social action ministries are a work in progress (aren't we all?) but some of what we currently do is shown below.

Food Bank

We're collecting food for local foodbanks. Please leave donations in the church porch with our thanks

Lunch Club

We're feeding the elderly in our community every fortnight during term times. More information can be found on the page The Third Age.

Street Pastors

Some members of the congregation are on the streets of the town each weekend looking after the most vulnerable. Street pastors are drawn from churches all over the town. You can support them in prayer on the evenings they are out.
